The White House

911/Dispatch Calls Released Shows No Race Mention in Prof Gates Arrest

As suspected by any rational, sane human- the woman who called 911 to report, what looked to be a possible burglary at the home of Professor Henry Louis Gates, never mentioned anything about the two men barging in being “black.” She did mention, when asked about the men, that one MAY have looked hispanic, but that’s all. There’s not a shred of evidence to think race played any role in sending police to investigate.

Listen to the 911 call here:

http://tiny.cc/qQ7wv

Also released was the police dispatch conversation. You can clearly hear race is never mentioned in the conversations between police and dispatchers, and that the officer on scene mentioned that the man who owns the house (Gates) was “not cooperative.”

Listen to that audio here:

It was obvious from the start that Gates, a man who has made his career obsessing over race, was never a target of any racial profiling, and there was never a shred of evidence to suggest racism on part of any of the officers involved, dispatch, or anyone else BESIDES Professor Gates himself.

Police investigated a possible crime that was called in through 911, they ran into instant resistance from a man filled with anger at whites, and they told him to calm down. When he refused to calm down (all officers involved, including a black officer himself) back the account that Gates was ballistic and refused to calm himself), they arrested him, took him down, booked him, and let him go. Charges were dropped, and that should have been it. Gates, however, like other race hustlers (Jackson and Sharpton, and even Obama’s own spiritual mentor, Rev Jeremiah Wright), turned it instantly into a racial issue, and the president stupidly followed suit by attacking police.

This story is finished, Gates needs to publicly apologize. If he refuses, he needs to immediately resign his post at Harvard University. President Obama needs to finally make a public apology to Officer Crowley and the entire Cambridge Police Department. He needs to admit he acted stupidly and move on. He also needs to stop pushing his way into issues of race altogether, as his own past sins of being a part of a virulently anti-white church for 20 years renders him ineligible to even speak to the subject.

Despite Sinking Ratings, Obama Still Enjoys 97% Approval Among Blacks- Isn’t that a Problem?

Obama approval ratings drop

The most recent Rasmussen data shows Obama, though his ratings are sinking among both dems and republicans, he still enjoys a 97% approval rating from black Americans. Doesn’t this fact sort of prove the theory that they are, in large majority, a monolithic voting bloc who are almost surely obsessing over the man’s skin tone and nothing else? Whites have never supported other whites simply because they’re white…was MLK’s dream of looking to the content of ones character a pipe dream?

Are the pundits right when they say that blacks are stuck on the plantation of the Democratic party? How do we counteract this subculture among many in this country where skin tone is the first thing that comes to mind in any issue, to hell with character, actions, and other items that are actually important?

Pres Obama Does Women in muslim World Disservice with Speech

Obama and other liberal “progressives” (anything goes morality is “progressive” apparently) made a fool of himself today in Cairo with his sometimes ridiculous and sometimes downright offensive speech there. Here is a section I take umbrage with:

“The U.S. government has gone to court to protect the right of women and girls to wear the hijab, and to punish those who would deny it.”

Yes, we know that women in islam are second class citizens. The koran itself states that women are lesser than men. Thank goodness they have the “right” to be second class and allow men to dominate them like this.

“I reject the view of some in the West that a woman who chooses to cover her hair is somehow less equal, but I do believe that a woman who is denied an education is denied equality. And it is no coincidence that countries where women are well-educated are far more likely to be prosperous.”

Huh? Why is it okay to support some arbitrary misogynist rule to cover your head and face because it’s a religious idea, but it’s not okay to support the religious idea of denying women education? Why is one somehow okay but not the other? This is the why liberals are nancies. They refuse to take a firm ideological stand on anything…for fear of not having every single person and every single thing be “equal,” no matter how little right something has of ever being “equal” to logical and reasonable traditions.

“Now let me be clear: issues of women’s equality are by no means simply an issue for Islam. In Turkey, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Indonesia, we have seen Muslim-majority countries elect a woman to lead. Meanwhile, the struggle for women’s equality continues in many aspects of American life, and in countries around the world.”

Does it? Women in the US ARE equal. You just finished a campaign that included a woman in the number 2 spot of the dem nomination! Enough of this bullshit that women are still fighting for equality in the US, it’s just not true, and to compare the US to muslim-majority nations where women are raped, beaten, and stoned to death for merely not having a penis, is absurd and offensive.

“Our daughters can contribute just as much to society as our sons, and our common prosperity will be advanced by allowing all humanity – men and women – to reach their full potential. I do not believe that women must make the same choices as men in order to be equal, and I respect those women who choose to live their lives in traditional roles. But it should be their choice. That is why the United States will partner with any Muslim-majority country to support expanded literacy for girls, and to help young women pursue employment through micro-financing that helps people live their dreams.”

Pipe dream. There’s no evidence that most muslim-majority nations hold anything but extreme contempt for their mothers and daughters, so let’s stop with the idiotic platitudes about how islam is so great and so wonderful, and by-golly it’s a great place for women to succeed.

Obama and most other progressives are wimps. You’ll never change the horrible situation for most women in the muslim world unless you man up, grow a pair, and start being honest. Not all religions are equal, and not all religious demands are equal. Just as not all nations are equal. Don’t you dare compare this land of freedom to any muslim-dominated nation, Mr. President, and don’t dare try to fool anyone into thinking islam is anything but a big bag of suck for women of all ages. It’s stupid, it’s pointless, and it’s just the pattern of liberal nonsense that never makes any true progress. The rights of women is an issue that needs to see progress in the muslim world. Unfortunately, when you follow a religion started by a mass murdering madman, that progress is sort of hard to come by. Obama would be wise to stand up and say so.

UPDATE: Pundette over at HotAir.com notices the absurd nature of Obama’s comments as well.

Sotomayor’s Disturbing Race-Based Adjudication

By now, we’ve all heard about Sonia Sotomayor’s view of race and deciding issues of law as a jurist. No doubt, most find it disturbing.

As the NY Times reports:

“I would hope that a wise Latina woman with the richness of her experiences would more often than not reach a better conclusion than a white male who hasn’t lived that life,” said Judge Sotomayor, who is now considered to be near the top of President Obama’s list of potential Supreme Court nominees.

Off course, this brings up all sorts of issues. Isn’t it a tad bit racist to think a latina woman is somehow superior in matters of law than a white man? What life is it exactly that a latina woman has lived that a white male has not, and how does it improve her ability to decide matters of law?

Like most liberals, Sotomayor has an obsession with gender and race. Racial and gender politics are old, and most Americans have grown weary of both. If a conservative justice had made such a comment that as a white male he could better decide cases than a latina woman, there would be national outrage, and he’d never have a chance at being confirmed by any senate on earth. This double standard is old, tired, and disgusting. Yet, the left consistently uses these arguments and is never held accountable.

The biggest problem of all with Sotomayor’s comment? Notice lady justice below. Check out her eyes. Yeah, that’s right, in case you didn’t recall, justice is SUPPOSED to be blind. Not so with liberals like Sotomayor, and not so with liberals like Barack Obama.

Lady Justice- justice is supposed to be blind

The media will turn this into an argument against conservatives, and they will, no doubt, make it out to be a racial issue. Hispanics nationwide will rejoice that someone sharing their skin tone is nominated, to hell with the disturbing values Sotomayor seems to have regarding the role of the courts. Liberal hypocrisy will win the day again, and Americans will be just as dumb as they ever were.

So-Called “Tolerant” Liberals at DailyKos Unsurprisingly Not at All Tolerant

The crazy Kos kids prove they’re not at all tolerant liberals they claim to be, and in fact they’re quite hateful and repugnant.

Fortunately, most of these idiots have ten brain cells in their heads, and sane, rational, and logical Americans have a more balanced view of the president.

Kathleen Parker Attacks Evangelicals, Runs for Office of Dumbest “Conservative” Columnist in America

Kathleen Parker seems to get dumber as the weeks go by.  She wrote a column a while back claiming that part of the reason McCain picked Palin was because he was somehow a dirty old man and thought Palin sexy.  Then, she went on an obsessive spree of articles attacking Palin and basically demanding she resign from the ticket because she was so unqualified and clueless (in Parker’s eyes).

Realizing she hadn’t done enough to make American conservatives despise her, she wrote an article Wednesday attacking evangelical Christians.  The special strain of evaneglicals that, ya know, actually back up their core values and ideals with actions.  Those silly bastards that claim to be Christian then actually, get this, practice the values outlined in the Bible (madness, I tell ya.  Madness!):

To be more specific, the evangelical, right-wing, oogedy-boogedy branch of the GOP is what ails the erstwhile conservative party and will continue to afflict and marginalize its constituents if reckoning doesn’t soon cometh.

Simply put: Armband religion is killing the Republican Party. And, the truth — as long as we’re setting ourselves free — is that if one were to eavesdrop on private conversations among the party intelligentsia, one would hear precisely that.

…Which is to say, the GOP has surrendered its high ground to its lowest brows.

Armband religion??  I never understood this argument.  What good does religion do if you pretend you’re not a believer when you leave the house of worship?  What shall a good Christian who isn’t “oogedy-boogedy” (yes, this inane being writes for a major newspaper using phrases like “oogedy-boogedy!”) do, Ms. Parker?  Pretend he or she isn’t a Christian unless they’re in the confines of a pew?  Do folks like Parker really believe that Christians should confess belief in the Lord, the truthfulness of scripture, but then publicly support all forms of immoral acts in public?  Don’t wear your religion as an armband!  Hide in when in public!

Parker goes on, and this is when I knew she had truly and completely lost her friggin mind:

It isn’t that culture doesn’t matter. It does. But preaching to the choir produces no converts. And shifting demographics suggest that the Republican Party — and conservatism with it — eventually will die out unless religion is returned to the privacy of one’s heart where it belongs.

So, let me see if I’ve got this straight.  Parker suggests that Christians should, when speaking or writing or even thinking in any form where any other human could deduce their Christian values, should actually pretend not to be Christians and take on some set of new values that go against their core belief system?  Religion belongs in “the privacy of one’s heart”??!!!!  That has to be one of the dumbest things I’ve heard in a long time from either side of the political spectrum!

What good is religion if you don’t live it daily, but instead lock it up inside, a private little lockbox where no one can see it.  Refusing to let your core beliefs show, let alone putting them into practice and urging lawmakers to base their decisions on these core values (the values most of them share as well).

The Vapid Parker finishes:

“Even Sarah Palin has blamed Bush policies for the GOP loss. She’s not entirely wrong, but she’s also part of the problem. Her recent conjecture about whether to run for president in 2012 (does anyone really doubt she will?) speaks for itself:

“I’m like, OK, God, if there is an open door for me somewhere, this is what I always pray, I’m like, don’t let me miss the open door. Show me where the open door is. … And if there is an open door in (20)12 or four years later, and if it’s something that is going to be good for my family, for my state, for my nation, an opportunity for me, then I’ll plow through that door.”

Let’s do pray that God shows Alaska’s governor the door.”

We get it, Kathleen, you hate hate hate Sarah Palin.  How dare this ignorant slut pray for guidance.  You keep that locked away in the privacy of your heart where religion belongs, little lady!

Let’s face it- Parker is clueless on religion, and worse- she’s a bigot.  She dislikes religious people who actually practice their religion.  In fact, Parker is just clueless in general.  The left surely isn’t going to embrace her, and the right…well, I’m going out on a limb and guessing she’s lost most support there.  Is it okay if I pray that the nation closes the door on Kathleen Parker’s career, or is that allowing too much religion outside of the private lockbox of my heart where religion should stay trapped?

ADDENDUM:  Also note that Parker has taken to just making things up, when she says:

“Meanwhile, it isn’t necessary to evict the Creator from the public square, surrender Judeo-Christian values or diminish the value of faith in America. Belief in something greater than oneself has much to recommend it, including most of the world’s architectural treasures, our universities and even our founding documents.

But, like it or not, we are a diverse nation, no longer predominantly white and Christian. The change Barack Obama promised has already occurred, which is why he won.”

First off, I don’t even know what she’s talking about when she says the change Obama promised has already occurred, linking it to whites and Christianity.  I don’t recall Obama running to bring a change in the whiteness of Christian nature of the country.  Not to mention, her statement is wholly inaccurate.  The most recent surveys show around 85% of Americans self-identify as Christian, and the most recent census numbers show that the US is somewhere around 75% white.  So, the nation IS predominantly white AND Christian.  So, why claim otherwise?  Maybe she’s stating the way she wishes the country would be, without all those “low brows” and their damned religion, perhaps?

Obama Win? It’s All About Race

Obama attended a racist anti-american church based on “black liberation theology” with a pastor who screamed “God damn America!” and claimed that the Sept 11 attacks were our fault.

Obama started his political career in the living room of two terrorists who bombed and killed innocent Americans.

No white candidate on earth would get even 10% of the vote if he were a member of a “white liberation theology” church and spent time in the living room of Eric Rudolph or Timothy McVeigh.

Those are two facts you cannot deny no matter how hard you try.

It’s all about race, folks.  It’s all about race.  Most radical candidate in the history of the nation?  You’ve got him America.

Some other notes…

Catholics are voting 50% for Obama in PA (despite the fact that he openly supported infanticide in the IL state senate and declared his very first act as president would be to lift ALL restrictions from ALL types of abortions)…after all the madness this cycle, this country deserves what it gets.  We can only pray that Americans turn their brains back on soon…the fact that terrorism scored under 10% as a major issue is proof that voters have already turned the brains off big time…when the next attack comes (it’s only a question of ‘when’), it’ll be another shock to the system just as 9.11 was.  Fox News is reporting only 22% of the country labels themselves liberal…yet we’re ready to elect the most liberal candidate in history?!

Final lesson?  Voters are mind-boggling stupid, a feeling I’ve already expressed, but these types of thing only solidify that thought.

Abortion on demand- you’ve got it

Gay marriage- you’ve got it

Infanticide with no restrictions on any type of abortion- you’ve got it

Taking from those making over $42, 000 a year and giving to the lower class- you’ve got it

We are S C R E W E D.

UPDATE: National Review’s Byron York has some stats on race:

The Role of Race: It Was Important   [Byron York]

The exit polls suggest that race was a factor in a lot of voters’ decisions — and that, on balance, it worked to Barack Obama’s advantage.  In Ohio, for example, six percent of voters said that race was the most important factor in their decision.  Among them, Obama won 59-40.  Another 13 percent said race was an important factor in their vote, and Obama won among them, 52-46.  So nearly one in five voters said race was an important part of their decision, and more of them voted for Obama than McCain.

Beyond that, eight percent said race was a “minor factor” in their decision — and they went for McCain, 56-44.  Finally, 71 percent said race played no role at all in their decision — and Obama won among them, 54-45.

Even MORE on race in this election.  This makes me sick.  Like I said before, this election will push race-relations back decades on many levels.  I guess the idea that we look not at a person’s skin tone, but rather their character is out the door for good…good job, voters!

More on the Role of Race   [Byron York]

The race factor numbers are more striking in the Virginia exit polls.  Six percent said race was the most important factor in their decision, and they went for Obama, 60 to 38.  Twelve percent said race was an important factor in their decision, and they went for Obama, 64-36.  Nine percent said race was a “minor factor” in their decision, and Obama won them 52-47.  So Obama led among the 27 percent who said race was a factor in their decision.  Finally, 72 percent said that race played no role in their decision, and McCain won among them, 50-49.

Obama lead 27 percent with those who said race was a factor in their decision.  The fact that we even have voters using race as a factor in their vote is disgusting enough.  The stats that show the Obama supporters are the ones concentrating on race isn’t at all shocking.  My guess is the stats will show a large majority of black Americans voted for Obama based on race.  No one can deny that is highly troubling.

MORE STATS:

In Virginia.  Black voters-

OBAMA 92%
MCCAIN 8%

Of course, if the number was reversed, the pundits would be screaming racism was to blame all day long…

MORE STATS ON RACE:

Obama wins 97% of black vote.

To Claim Bush a Failure Confuses the Meaning of “Failure”

With all the reviews of Oliver Stone’s film, W (which looks like an overly long SNL skit), I keep seeing critics complain that President Bush is a failure, and that the low favorability ratings sort of prove that he’s a failure.

Two things to note in that regard- people are sometimes clueless creatures who can’t make up their minds from one minute to another.  One day  they love you, the next day they hate you for seemingly no good reason.  Let’s face it, most people are self-involved, don’t care to have anything but a cursory glance at the facts, and would rather be watching episodes of Lost or Desperate Housewives than studying politics, history, or the world around them.

To go along with point 1, the fact is to proclaim the man a failure is to totally confuse the meaning of the word itself.  After an unprecedented attack on American soil, we went after the terrorist organization who harbored and propped up the thugs responsible.  In the process, we freed millions weighed down by the chains of tyranny.  A noble goal, no doubt.

After that, it was decided that another murderous despot named Saddam Hussein would be held responsible for 11 years of thumbing his nose at the international community.  And this is what most people tend to pass on by when discussing the war that has made Bush, among Americans answering these polls, unpopular to such an extent.  To argue that Hussein was just a bad guy misses the point.  Hussein invaded a neighboring country, raped and pillaged, and basically pissed off the community of nations.  I sometimes wonder if people just forgot that the whole gulf war took place at all.

Now, those who have actually followed history for the past decade+ know that Hussein was given 17 chances via UN security council resolutions to comply with the demands made to him after the end of the gulf war.  To say that 17 ignored UN resolutions is a lot is an overstatement like no other.  Over the course of 12 years, a brutal man responsible for the deaths of over 1, 000, 000 people (innocents, most of them) thumbed his nose at the world and basically said, ’to hell with you, I’ll do anything I want.’  1441, the resolution that demanded a full accounting of all weapons programs, records of all destroyed munitions, and complete compliance with international inspectors, was the 17th resolution regarding Hussein’s behavior after the 1991 war in Kuwait and Iraq.

Clearly, the man was never going to step down from his post.  He was never going to be talked into complying with weapons inspections through diplomacy.  12 years is a long time to deal with a man who could threaten his neighbors and any country in reach of chemical and biological weapons.

Unfortunately, many Americans have bought into the liberal lie that Bush lied and people died.  Of course, bipartisan commissions, history, and basic common sense have proven that no one lied, and that every security apparatus in the world agreed- Hussein posed a threat at some level, he had never fully complied with the dozen and a half resolutions, he still had banned munitions that could be used to threaten the free nations of the world, and he was never going to fully comply with inspectors on the ground in any significant manner.

Bush’s decision to oust a brutal despot who killed 1, 000, 000 people was a noble one.  People, of course, become weary, and they do so quite easily.  But weariness of war doesn’t make the initial decision to oust the man known ’round the world as the butcher a bad one.  It also doesn’t make the man or the mission  he spearheaded a failure.  To decry the decision to oust the thug, one has to offer a better alternative.  The status quo would in no way cut it, and removing all restrictions on the regime would have been a complete failure of moral authority.  Free nations cannot allow brutal thugs to threaten other free nations, sitting idly by doing nothing about the situation.  Sitting on their hands, just waiting for the situation to somehow get better on its own, tho we know in our hearts no such thing will ever happen.

At the end of the day, it comes down to choices. All of life comes down to decisions.  Allow evil to thrive and people to suffer at the hands of such evil, or remove the evil for good, not allowing it to threaten, maim, or destroy ever again.  A world with Saddam Hussein, the butcher of Baghdad is a better place, and we have men like George Bush to thank for removing him from the scene.  Decisions like that aren’t failures, they’re acts of courage.  Unpopular decisions have to be made, and sometimes that makes for unpopular men.  Unpopularity, though not such a wonderful thing, doesn’t equal failure.

America is Lost: The Obama Youth- All Hail Our Messiah

Socities are ultimately destroyed from within by the populace.

It’s time we stop denying the stunningly obvious fact that this stuff is so far beyond scary that words can hardly describe how insane this country has become over a jr senator who also happens to be the second coming of Jesus Christ, the messiah, the one we’ve been waiting for, the one who will change the world, the savior of mankind, the leader to end all leaders, our permanent god upon high, Barack H. Obama. Yes, folks, we’re ready to follow the one and true god, who pals around with terrorists and anti-american racist pastors. The man who wants to tax us to death and has a fantasy that he can somehow create a free system where all Americans receive healthcare paid for by taxes that don’t exist in an environment where no plan on earth could raise that tax revenue to begin with.

The world has gone insane, and it’s singing “obammmmmaa hallelujah” as it crashes and burns.

There is NO more denying, my friends. The cult of Obama is just that- a cult. A following comprised of millions of people, most of whom are completely ignorant of Obama’s history, his stand on the issues, his basic philosophy…they’re so enthralled with their new messiah that facts don’t matter. All that matters is how he makes them feel. Another man had the same effect on a group of millions in the 1930′s.

More insane lefties warping the minds of children for purposes of propaganda…
