Students Banned from Wearing Patriotic Clothing, Anything With US Flag

It’s a sad day in our nation when school kids are banned from wearing clothing that is any way patriotic, has any flags, or supports the military, etc.

What’s the quote saying how nations are not destroyed from forces external but by forces from within?

There is definitely a large group within this nation is trying to destroy it and set up a brand new nation with new laws, new traditions, new social structures, etc. Hopefully Americans will realize this and fight those who are part of this vast group trying to destroy the nation from within.

Cynthia McKinney’s Racist Statement

Cynthia McKinney released a racist rant today…notice how she attacks the Capitol Police again, claims SHE is the victim of racism…refers to the police officer as a “white police officer.” Cynthia- breaking news, this IS NOT AN ISSUE OF RACE. His own skin color has nothing to do with this. He was simply doing his job. You seem to think the officers must remember nearly 600 faces and know every look you have…if you dyed your hair, someone might not recognize you and you’d claim racism. Do you remember the face of every member of the Capitol Police? I hardly doubt it…and if so, can we attack you and claim you’re a racist?

She admits that the officer yelled out to her and wanted to see her ID. THAT IS HIS JOB. She said that the officer blocked her from entering until he saw identification. AGAIN- THIS IS HIS JOB!! What does this nutbag not understand about this?

It’s always about race to her…she is obsessed with it. She’s obsessed with her skin, she’s obsessed with pretending to be a victim, she’s obsessed with attacking others for her own character flaws. She’s obsessed with embarassing herself, the people of Georgia, and the entire US Congress.

She won’t change…in a year, she’ll have another assault, and she’ll cry racism again (this is the 5th time she’s had run-ins with the police and she’s blamed racism everytime.) McKinney needs to be reminded that this is the United States in 2006 not 1906. Racism isn’t running rampant in the streets, Capitol Police Officers aren’t part of a secret racist conspiracy…and Cynthia McKinney is NOT a victim of anything but being a fool.

McKinney Statement

Statement of Cynthia McKinney Re: Repeated Harassment from Capitol Hill Police

I have served as a Member of Congress for more than 11 years.

Throughout my tenure in Congress, I seem to evoke memory loss, especially from certain police officers who claim not to be able to recognize my face while I go to work everyday, representing the people of Georgia’s 4th Congressional District.

Washington, DC and local newspapers, as well as authors of books, have carried my “working while black” stories of such encounters on Capitol Hill. In fact, the movie American Blackout candidly captures just such an encounter in one of its more humorous moments when after a two-year hiatus from Congress, a black police officer recognizes me and welcomes me back to Washington, and then just across the street, a few yards away, a white police officer approaches me to ask me what office I am with. In the film I remark, “Some things never change. That’s what Tupac said.”

Sadly, there are only 14 black women Members of Congress. And surely our faces are distinguishable. But why my face is continually unrecognizable can only be answered by these offending police officers. Capitol Hill Police are given face recognition instructions as a part of their official training. Capitol Hill Police are required to recognize, greet, and distinguish Members of Congress as a part of their official role and responsibilities. In fact, according to the US Capitol Police, their mission is to protect and support the Congress in meeting its Constitutional responsibilities. The US Capitol Police mission statement makes no distinction about selective application of its mission depending upon whether a Member of Congress is black, woman, or has a new hairstyle.

But, honestly, this incident is not about wearing a Congressional pin or changing my hairstyle.

It is true that I have changed my hairstyle. It is true that at the time I was not wearing my pin. But many Members of Congress aren’t wearing their pins today. Just in the last hour at least 8 Members of Congress have been spotted speaking from the well of the House without their pins and even more have been seen on the Hill today not wearing their Congressional pin. How many of them were stopped by Capitol Hill Police? Do I have to contact the police every time I change my hairstyle? How do we account for the fact that when I wore my braids every day for 11 years, I still faced this problem, primarily from certain white police officers.

This morning at approximately 8:57 am, I was going to a Budget Committee meeting due to start at 9:00 am. I was rushing to my meeting when a white police officer yelled to me. He approached me, bodyblocked me, physically touching me. I used my arm to get him off of me. I told him not to touch me several times. He asked for my ID and I showed it to him. He then let me go and I proceeded to my meeting and I assume that the Police Officer resumed his duties. I have counseled with the Sergeant-at-Arms and Acting Assistant Chief Thompson several times before and counseled with them again on today’s incident. I offered also to counsel with the offending police officer. I have agreed to try to remember to wear my pin and to notify Capitol Hill police every time I change my hairstyle.

My father was a police officer. After the tragedies on September 11th, recognizing the strain that we all were under, I wrote a letter to Sergeant-at-Arms Livingood reminding him that police officers were operating under great stress while working long hours. I asked that they be allowed to use their cell phones to contact their families to know that they were alright. No one else did this. But I did. I will not let this or any other incident dampen my resolve to support those whose work is vital and supports us. It is, however, a shame that while I conduct the country’s business, I have to stop and call the police to tell them that I’ve changed my hairstyle so that I’m not harassed at work.

– To change our lives, we must first change our minds. -from Open Your Mind, Open Your Life: A Little Book of Eastern Wisdom by Taro Gold

As you can see, I’ve made bold the most absurd of her statements…especially her obsession with listing everyone’s skin color, as if it’s important. Black this, white this, black that…she’s a fool and she can’t stop proving it with her inane statements…and she has STILL refused to apologize.

Mr. Not-So-Bright

I think Daniel Dennett coined the term “bright” to describe anyone who is a ‘freethinker’- an atheist…a rational thinker. Because, Lord knows that the religious are foolish morons who have no brains.

Well, Dennett’s new book is called Breaking the Spell- which you would assume is an attack on religion and a desire to rid the world of it. He says that it’s no such thing and his goal isn’t to destroy religion. Well, that’s what he said on Charlie Rose tonight with guest host left winger and nontraditional Christian Bill Moyers.

I’ve read many quotes from Dennett, and it seems to me that the destruction of religion is, indeed, his desire.

On the show tonight, of which I saw the last half hour- Dennett said many things including:

-Thinking Christians are the ones who go against their churches teaches. The THINKING Catholics are the ones who disagree with the church’s teaching on birth control. The vast majority of Catholics are therefore, in Dennett’s mind irrational and non-thinking.

-Religion is a way of indoctrinating your children in ignorance.

-Religion is basically a way of turning off your brain. You blindly accept it without backing up the claims and you claim ‘it’s faith.’

-Religion demands you not question or reason.

-Religion is a “precious delusion”

-Religion is mandatory ignorance

Now, Dennett’s attacks are aimed at Christianity. He admits that this is the case because he’s only had time to study Christianity and not Hinduim or other religions. This, it’s clear, is bologna with a capital B. There are many famous Christian philosophers throughout history who have written volumes on Christianity, the Bible, Jesus, doctrines, etc. These men and women have studied long and hard and questioned and debated the issues. This alone disproves Dennett’s oft repeated claims that religion (Christianity) is mandatory ignorance and that it’s a way of non-reason, it’s irrational, and it’s like turning off your brain. Sir Isaac Newton, the most famous scientist in history was also a Christian theologian/philosopher…he wrote more on Christianity than he did science. In Dennett’s world- Newton is a non-thinking fool.

Christianity, as it is often said but bears repeating is NOT based on blind faith. It does NOT demand that you not think. In fact, the Bible says we SHOULD think…in fact, the Bible tells us to think. It DEMANDS we do so-

  • Thes 5:21 “Test everything. Hold onto the good.”
  • In writing the Gospels, the writers often take the time to make it clear that they are writing their accounts so that people can know the truth. That they’re not just telling fairytales, but rather relaying the accounts of eyewitnesses and of the facts related to the events being described.

This is just common sense from anyone familiar with the Bible that it’s not telling us to close our minds, shut off your brains, and refuse to think or reason. Thousands of Dennett’s fellow philosophers are Christians- does he suppose they don’t think or reason or rationalize their religion? Is he so arrogant that he thinks the minority of atheists who see the world his way are the only “bright’ ones among us?

It’s obvious that Dennett hasn’t studied Christianity much at all…and if he has, he’s just being dishonest. Both of those things, ignorance or dishonesty, are not so bright. You’d expect more from a self described “bright.” This just scratches the surface of his irrational statements made on the show and in his book (I haven’t read it, but I have read many reviews and summaries of it. I don’t personally care to read it, I’m merely commenting on what I’ve seen quoted of him, his interview on Charlie Rose, and many quotes attributed to him.)

    More Nutjobs Support Dr. Doom

    Nutjob alert:

Here’s a post from someone who was at the talk given by Dr. Doom (aka, Dr. Pianka) who supported the idea that ebola could wipe out 90% of the world’s population and that this wouldn’t be such a bad thing.

Brenna McConnel is clearly just as nuts as Pianka, in that she says the following:

Dr. Pianka’s talk at the TAS meeting was mostly of the problems humans are causing as we rapidly proliferate around the globe. While what he had to say is way too vast to remember it all, moreover to relay it here in this blog, the bulk of his talk was that he’s waiting for the virus that will eventually arise and kill off 90% of human population. In fact, his hope, if you can call it that, is that the ebola virus which attacks humans currently (but only through blood transmission) will mutate with the ebola virus that attacks monkeys airborne to create an airborne ebola virus that attacks humans. He’s a radical thinker, that one! I mean, he’s basically advocating for the death of all but 10% of the current population! And at the risk of sounding just as radical, I think he’s right.

Humans are far too populous. We’ve used up our resources, and we’re destroying the Earth at an accelerated pace. The more technology we create, the more damage we’re capable of doing. We now consider keeping the forest natural to save a species of catepillar more important that using that space for humans to live and till. And I’m in complete agreement with that. It’s the harsh reality that many people alive right now should be dead. And even harsher to think that the world would be better off with them dead too. My grandparents, who I love dearly and am so incredibly thankful to know, are honestly being kept alive only through the technology that we have created via medicine. The same goes for the millions of other old folk alive and kicking and will continue to do so for another 5-10 years, using up more resources. Or think of all the babies being born every hour with abnormalities that 50 years ago would have kept them from living. Now, those lives can be saved, and we pat ourselves on the backs at how smart and charitable we are as a species that we can create and sustain life. For those against cloning, etc because it’s “playing God,” how is this any different?? Life has a built-in mechanism that keeps species from becoming too overpopulated, and it wasn’t until humans started messing with the system that it went out of whack. Now that we’ve killed off the majority of all top predators, we now must take on the duty of keeping populations in check and at the same time, allowing other species a fair chance at reproduction.

These people are terrifying. Eugenics in the 21st century.

    Cynthia McKinney’s Racist Friends Protest

NUTJOB ALERT!! The people in the video here are complete insane and bear no resemblance to humans with actual working brains. Anything they say should go in one ear and out the other faster than you can call Jesse Jackson’s house to plan a protest march…

Cynthia McKinney’s racist friends come out to proclaim a racist conspiracy.

Let us all do the nation a favor and stop accepting black racism. Usually in this country, it’s thought that if you’re black you somehow have an inherent right to be a racist or spout of racist remarks, and it’s not that big of a deal. Racism is racism no matter who it comes from!

Let’s change the way things usually work and shame every one of these fools for being the racists they are…

I should note McKinney has still not apologized and it still playing the victim card.

Insane “Scientist” Says We Should Wipe out 90% of Earth’s Population

UPDATE: Here’s more on this loons presentation. The writer of this account notes that this madman has actually written and posted his own obituary on his Univ of TX website! I put it into a word count website and it shows that it’s 1443 words in length! Who in their right mind writes and posts their own 1500 word obituary?!!!

Some Univ of Texas nutjob professor and scientist has won away from a group in Texas for his ideas that we should purposefully kill off 90% of the world’s population, hopefully with the ebola virus. He says that human life is no better than the life of a bug and that we’re ruining the earth (more doom and gloom nonsense that never comes true!) He says that human life is meaningless and that we should kill all but 10% of humans living today.

A so-called man of science advocating the murder of over 5 billion people. Sadly, his students praise him as a “god” as one of them said.

The scientic group in Texas awarded him a prize for his insanity.

Yes, the world IS coming to this…

This is one of those things that WOULDN’T be funny if it weren’t serious, and worse- this lunatic IS serious and many agree with him.

Scientists wonder why there’a often a disconnect between them and the average person on the street- it’s stuff like this. Too bad too many scientists are clueless to the fact that these outrageous statements only drive the wedge further between them and the public at large.

Cynthia McKinney Further Proves Her Insanity

US Rep. from Georgia, Cynthia McKinney…we’ve all heard the news, there are a few posts in the past few days over her assault on a Capitol Police Officer. She came out and claimed SHE was the victim, she played the race card, her attorney said she was merely in Congress while black- so he’s playing the race card too.

We have numerous witnesses that have sworn statements that say McKinney wasn’t a victim at all and the officer she assaulted was the victim. She might be arrested in the next few days and charged. Clueless Nancy Pelosi said it’s no big deal…Hastert countered that it is, indeed, a big deal. McKinney has had at least 5 altercations with Capitol police and she’s blamed racism everytime…she refers to “white people” out to get her.

Now, McKinney has posted a video clip of some documentary on her website.

Here is the link to the very short video. She’s with a cameraman and someone else, and a guard simply does his job at the Capitol building and asks ‘who are you guys with’? McKinney comments that this is typical and she’s not offended by it- she implies racism here again.

Now- what would you expect a guard at the US Capitol to do when 3 or 4 people are filming the capitol building, ready to just waltz right on into the area without checking in with security? If you’re on duty, you ask the people who they are, who their with, etc. In McKinney’s sad little world- a security guard protecting the capital from people filming it is racism!

The fact is- the Capitol was a possible target on 9/11, and it’s surely a target of terrorist cells in the US today. It’s highly protected, as it should be…can you imagine if guards just let anyone walk up to the Capitol, filming it, trying to get in, not bothering with that pesky thing called security? They’re PROTECTING THE CAPITOL AND THOSE INSIDE OF IT, INCLUDING MCKINNEY HERSELF! She claims to support the Capitol Police, but the truth is- she doesn’t. 5 incidents she has had with them, and she’s blamed racism everytime…when they do their job and demand that people coming in show their Congressional pins (she refuses to wear her pin!), they’re protecting McKinney and her fellow members of Congress. If someone came in and went past security and shot McKinney, she’s complain that it was racism that allowed security to be so lax! You can’t win with lunatics!

In the clip, she shows where her mentality is- she says somethings never change and comments that Tupac said that. A US Congresswoman constantly crying racism, then quoting a violent black rapper in doing so…classy.

I have a suggestion for McKinney- resign today. You’re an embarassment to Congress, you’re an embarassment to the people of Georgia, and you’re an embarassment to the nation itself. If you want to be the loon who cries racism everyday, do it OFF the taxpayer’s dollar. Go work for racist kings Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton, but please, for the sake of all Americans- quit Congress today.

Hateful Atheist Radical Left Wing Professors

Welcome to all the immature kids from PZ’s blog! Post all the hate-filled nonsense you want, then call everyone who doesn’t see things your way ‘stupid’ and make false claims about them, their lives, their families, etc. Like I said- par for the course.

Good to know that fools like PZ Myers get paid public tax dollars to act like children. He runs a popular science website…a science website that demands no dissent (esp. in regards to evolution that is unguided and ruled by chance). The top of his site shows how little class the man has. The top reads:

“Evolution, development, and random biological ejaculations from a godless liberal”

Remember, this is PROFESSOR PZ Myers. Of a public university!

If you go to Myers’ website, you will see that he is an atheist. He doesn’t care for religion, especially Christianity. He’s on a mission to call names of ANYONE who supports ID. In one recent post, he attacks Jonathan Witt and calls him a “quack,” “nuts,” and “certifiable.”

Then, if you look at the top of his website, he had a random quote that pops up on each refresh. Here’s a sampling of the quotes (he’s a fan of atheists, Marxists, and worse…)

Demons do not exist any more than gods do, being only the products of the psychic activity of man.

[Sigmund Freud, New York Times Magazine, 6 May 1956

Professors at public colleges who post things like this clearly don't leave all of that at home and they almost surely bring these biases into the classroom to indoctrinate our kids.

    Here's more:

"The first requisite for the happiness of the people is the abolition of religion."
    [Karl Marx]

See a pattern here for Mr. Hateful? He wants to destroy religion and religious belief, and he’s a fan of Marx!

    And more:

When the people failed to worship one of these gods, or failed to feed and clothe his priests, (which was much the same thing,) he generally visited them with pestilence and famine. Sometimes he allowed some other nation to drag them into slavery — to sell their wives and children; but generally he glutted his vengeance by murdering their firstborn. The priests always did their whole duty, not only in predicting these calamities, but in proving, when they did happen, that they were brought upon the people because they had not given quite enough to them.

[Robert G. Ingersoll, "The Gods", 1872]

    Obession with attacking religion, anyone?

    And more:

I believe today that my conduct is in accordance with the will of the Almighty Creator.

[Adolph Hitler, Mein Kampf, pp. 46]

Here, Myers wants you to believe that Hitler wasn’t an atheist (he was), and that he was a Christian…the term “Almighty Creator” would be used by a Christian. Unfortunately, any fool can check google to learn that Hitler was NOT a Christian, but merely used the idea to keep those around him appeased. You can search google and find dozens of quotes where Hitler attacks Christianity, the Bible, Jesus, the Jewish God, etc.

And this one (more religion bashing obsession here):

Science can teach us, and I think our own hearts can teach us, no longer to look around for imaginary supports, no longer to invent allies in the sky, but rather to look to our own efforts here below to make this world a fit place to live in, instead of the sort of place that the churches in all these centuries have made it.

[Bertrand Russell, "Why I Am Not A Christian"]

    And one more:

Indifference to religion, due to thought, strengthens character,

[W.T. Root, Prof. of Psychology at Univ. of Pittsburg, after examining 1,916 prisoners]

What you have to realize is that PZ hates religion. It’s clear from going thru his site and the archives of his site. Christianity is a main target…he will attack most people who believe in God, call them quacks, fools, morons, etc. He’s the type of rabid atheist that even mild mannered moderate atheists can’t stand. He’s rabid in the way that Dawkins is, just not so horrible.

This is just one example of a professor teaching the young minds of American kids today. Wonderful thought, isn’t it?

And before I go, another quick taste of the hate coming from the college professor:

Laugh long and hard, everyone, and let’s all sing out, “I told you so!” Prayer is worthless. Despite his job description, I think I’d rather like Dr Koenig:

Dr. Harold G. Koenig, director of the Center for Spirituality, Theology and Health at the Duke University Medical Center, who did not take part in the study, said the results did not surprise him.

“There are no scientific grounds to expect a result and there are no real theological grounds to expect a result either,” he said.

Science, he said, “is not designed to study the supernatural.”

Once again, the Templeton Foundation throws another bucket of money down a rathole of foolishness.

    Shameful…
    ————————————
UPDATE (Mar 31, 206- 2PM CT): I should note (I noticed this before but never commented on it, someone on another site just mentioned it so I’m reminded to make note.) In PZ’s blog, he states the following. He quotes Jonathan Witt’s post and then replies. Problem is, Myers is purposefully distorting what Witt says. Even worse, Myers attacks Witt as “nuts” and “certifiable” based on Myer’s own distortion of what Witt said not what Witt ACTUALLY said!

    Here are the two quotes:

Witt: “After that the real work begins. I’m talking about all those uncooperative fossils, the great quarries in Canada and China that show how most of the major groups of animals appeared in a geologically brief period of time during the Cambrian explosion, contradicting Darwin’s gradually branching tree of life. Those fossils can’t just be left sitting around. They too will have to be gotten rid of.”

Myers: “Jonathan Witt is nuts. Read the science journals, read the textbooks, read great volumes like Valentine’s On the Origin of Phyla(amzn/b&n/abe/pwll)—he doesn’t know what he’s talking about. Biologists embrace the Cambrian. There is a wealth of wonderful information there, extensively discussed and written about, and we simply love this stuff.

Get rid of the Cambrian fossils? That statement alone is enough to qualify the man as certifiable.”

Myers is distorting what is an obvious sarcastic remark from Witt. Myers and others like him want to ignore the explosion as if it doesn’t exist, as if it doesn’t pose problems to the gradualistic model (I’m not sure of his personal view, but I wouldn’t doubt he disagrees with Gould and Eldridge in their view of the fossil record.)

Point is- this statement shows that it is Myers, not Witt, who is certifiable for making an obvious distorting. Lying doesn’t get your case very far…lying and then calling someone “nuts” based on that lie is even worse! Myers knows quite well that Witt wasn’t saying we should destroy fossils!

Sadly, this is an obvious distortion, yet as far as I can see from the comments- none of Myers’ band of sycophants pointed this out. They were too busy attacking, calling names, and using the word “retard” every other word.

I’ll repeat it one last time- this is a public college professor who teaches the young people of the nation. Let’s stop denying that academia has gone down the tubes.

Racist Rep. Cynthia McKinney Punches Cop

Rep. Cynthia McKinney- the nutjob of nutjobs in the US House…this woman has been an unhinged radical for the entirety of her career. She’s had numerous problems, including run-ins with the law over campaign contributions, business problems, and worse.

She protested the 1991 Iraq war, causing legislators to walk out on her inane remarks. She claimed President Bush knew about the Sept 11 attacks before they happened, when she said:

“We know there were numerous warnings of the events to come on September 11… Those engaged in unusual stock trades immediately before September 11 knew enough to make millions of dollars from United and American airlines, certain insurance and brokerage firms’ stocks. What did the Administration know, and when did it know it about the events of September 11? Who else knew and why did they not warn the innocent people of New York who were needlessly murdered?”

She attacked Al Gore by race baiting him with this comment:
“Al Gore’s Negro tolerance level has never been too high. I’ve never known him to have more than one black person around him at any given time.”

Unfortunately for the clueless McKinney, Gore’s campaign manager was Donna Brazile, a BLACK FEMALE.

She changed her hairstyle recently and was asked to show ID to Capitol Police yesterday (the officer didn’t recognize her). She refuses to wear her Congressional pin as she is supposed to. When grabbed by the arm for going thru the barriers without permission, she (according to witnesses) punched the officer in the chest. One news report of the affair state that there was a chance of her being arrested after Wednesday’s session. I don’t think she was arrested afterall- her statement on her website doesn’t mention any of this.

That same news report quotes an unconfirmed statement that states:

“Do I have to contact the police every time I change my hairstyle? How do we account for the fact that when I wore my braids every day for 11 years, I still faced this problem, primarily from certain white police officers,” the statement says.

“I was rushing to my meeting when a white police officer yelled to me. I offered also to counsel with the offending police officer.”

This certainly fits McKinney’s racist past with her comments I mentioned above, as well as these issues with McKinney and her racial obsession:

    Spurlock Gone Mad

I told you this guy was a loser …(not to mention his “documentary” is total nonsense.)

    Spurlock Shocks High School

Super Size Me filmmaker Morgan Spurlock shocked a Pennsylvania high school a Friday when joked about the intelligence of McDonald’s employees and marijuana-smoking teachers. Spurlock, who was nominated for an Oscar for his 2004 documentary on the health risks of McDonald’s food, spoke for an hour to students and teachers at the Hatboro-Horsham High School’s health fair in Horsham. While some of the pupils enjoyed his entertaining speech, special education students and the teachers did not. During the talk, Spurlock mocked “retarded kids in the back wearing Helmets,” which prompted teachers to remove the special needs students from the lecture. The school’s Superintendent William Lessa says, “If you put the whole package together, the use of the F-word and poking fun at teachers and the comments about special-needs students, it just wasn’t appropriate.” Spurlock claims he was baffled by the school’s response, claiming he has made similar comments at other educational establishments. He remarks, “The greatest lesson those kids learned today was the importance of free speech.”
