Vatican Newspaper Praises Obama Message- What a Bunch of Ninnies

The Vatican newspaper L’Osservatore Romano said Obama’s speech at the leading Catholic university on Sunday confirmed what he had said at a recent news conference — that signing the so-called Freedom of Choice Act in the U.S. Congress wasn’t his highest legislative priority. The bill would protect a woman’s right to have a child or end a pregnancy…
The article didn’t mention the protest by dozens of U.S. Catholic bishops who denounced Notre Dame for honoring Obama because his abortion rights record clashes with fundamental church teaching.
God, the catholic church is full of ninnies. Forget all that Bible stuff, we’ll ignore core Christian values like the sanctity of life and such. These people are out of their minds. Like others have noted- if the vatican won’t stand up for a group of bishops trying to protect life, who will they stand up for, and what issue WILL they take a truly christian stand on?
Ol’ Benedict and his gang need to get their heads out of their collective asses and get real. Then again, it’s not like this is a big issue or anything, it’s just the slaughter of millions of babies because some idiot women just can’t be bothered with taking responsibility for their own actions. Selfishness is awesome, ain’t it?

Barack Obama Should Have Had the Decency to Reject Notre Dame’s Speech Offer

Barack Obama- the one thing people often say about him, seeminly more than anything else, is that he’s a mystery. You never know where he truly stands on many issues. He seems to take the position that stands to gain him more power in his very very short pursuit of the highest office in the land. This is why people from both sides of the aisle sometimes say they like him- it’s so easy to project onto him your own personal views, mainly because he’s seemingly so wishy washy on his own views, and he often refuses to take a firm stance on much of anything.
We do, however, know where Obama stands on abortion. He is radically pro-abortion, despite his insistence that we have fewer of them. In his time in the IL State Senate, we know he voted “present” several times on state bills to help infants born alive after botched abortions. Infanticide is a very radical stance, even among most liberals, but Obama had no problem, again refusing to take a firm stance with a vote. We know that his first couple of acts as president reversed federal rules in place to limit abortions and the use of stem cell lines. Thanks to Obama, your tax money goes to fund abortions overseas now, a rule put into place under George W Bush.
Obama’s radical stance on abortion is why he should have rejected Notre Dame’s offer for him to be their commencement speaker. Notre Dame is arguably the most important Catholic institution in the West. It’s a sacred place for the Catholic Church, and with Obama’s background on abortion, he should have had the decency to politely decline the offer to speak. His address to the students was a slap in the face to Catholics across the nation. Notre Dame’s administration should also be ashamed for its actions in this whole ordeal. Honoring a man whose views contradict basic Catholic teachings with an honorary degree from the nation’s premiere Catholic institution is a disgrace. It shows that some among the university’s administration easily toss basic doctrinal issues aside. One has to wonder what other core beliefs Notre Dame will ignore for political points?
The fact that many of the students chanted, “yes we can” is, in itself, a disgrace to the university as well. Apparently, young people are out to prove the stereotype- to hell with rules, I’ll make them up as I go along. Forget what the Bible teaches, we can ignore the parts we don’t like as long as it makes us feel good. This do-whatever attitude is at the root of our nation’s moral breakdown. Embracing a president whose values completely contradict the very basic values that all life is sacred will, no doubt, lead to the downfall of Notre Dame as a premiere Catholic institution, and as well it should. When even many of the administrators toss aside doctrine on a whim, you know there are serious foundational problems. Obama should have had the decency to thank Notre Dame for its offer and politely said, “no.” Unfortunately, that’s just not the kind of man our new president is.

Slut Tries to Sell Her Virginity for College

Some slut in San Diego is auctioning off her virginity to the highest bidder in order to pay for her Master’s degree program. Some marriage and family therapy degree. She most likely didn’t get enough attention as a child and is acting out like the idiot she clearly is. People do it all the time in all sorts of ways. This young fool just decided to do it in a big way.
Can you imagine anyone in their right mind looking up a ‘marriage and family therapy’ expert who made her name by selling her virginity online? I wonder if it’s possible she is actually that stupid?
She says she got the idea after her sister paid for her master’s degree by working as a prostitute for three weeks. I wonder how the girls’ dad killed himself? Shotgun or did he jump from the top floor of an office building? I can’t imagine he hasn’t done himself in by now.
The Awkward Co-dependence of Blacks and Liberal Democrats

I was browsing GOP USA a bit ago and saw this from Star Parker. One does seriously have to wonder why so many blacks (90% sounds about right according to all the polls I’ve seen) associate themselves with an ideology that most of them disagree with. It’s not the history that matters, it’s the fictional story of that history that seems to make the most difference.
Polling data suggests most blacks are very conservative when it comes to morality and fiscal responsibility, but these same shows tend to show that blacks are much more willing to desire (and accept) free government money as part of the welfare state. Which is why liberal Democrats are obsessed with big government, welfare, and the like. Check the numbers- without 90% of the black vote and a large percentage of the hispanic vote, the Democratic party wouldn’t be able to win a single seat in the senate, let alone the White House. Unfortunately, perception is king, and the media (along with liberals in congress) has successfully convinced most black Americans that the party’s values are their values, despite all the evidence to the contrary.
Working on changing the welfare mentality would be, in my mind, one of the biggest steps in balancing out what is now an absurd tipping of the scales toward the liberal side of things…Correcting the record of history on civil rights would be a step in the right direction as well, as the narrative from the liberal elite that Democrats were the lovers of civil rights for blacks won out, despite the fact that most of the story is bogus.

What does Caroline Kennedy have in common with black America? If your answer is not much, I’d tend to agree with you.
When I think of Caroline, I think of Manhattan and Park Avenue, not the Bronx and Brooklyn. I think of Brentwood and Beverly Hills, not Watts and South Central Los Angeles.
But there is something that Caroline and black America do have in common. The Democratic Party.
Whether Kennedy succeeds in her effo rt to slide into Hillary Clinton’s soon-to-be-vacated Senate seat will have little to do with her Democratic Party bona fides. Per her policy positions ticked off the other day, she is in perfect and predictable liberal alignment with party boilerplate. If she fails, it will be for reasons other than her views.
So what exactly is the common political ground that Kennedy bluebloods share with the 90 percent of America’s blacks who vote for Democrats?
A careful look shows the deep internal contradictions of the Democratic Party and the complexity of the political psyche of black Americans.
Ironically, despite Democratic Party rhetoric about economic inequities and wealth and income gaps in America, those gaps are more pronounced inside the Democratic tent than inside the Republican one.
According to exit polls from November’s election, Barack Obama captured the vote of America’ richest and America’s poorest. Fifty-two percent of those with incomes over $200,000 voted for Obama and more than 60 percent of those earning under $30,000 did.
Our wealthiest senator, John Kerry, is a Democrat, as is our wealthiest House member, Jane Harman.
The nation’s two wealthiest men, Bill Gates and Warren Buffett are both, by all indication, Democrats.
What political aspirations can black Americans, whose median income lags the nation’s share with these multimillionaires and billionaires?
Give Me a Break: “The Obama Generation”?!

I was checking the news, and apparently MTV has seen a marked descrease in viewership…ratings down 23%. They have 16 “reality shows” (read: game shows with dumber contestants) slated to start this next year. MTV Networks president, Brian Graden had this to say about the changes for the network:
The series come from high-profile producers including Sean Combs, Matt Stone & Trey Parker, Donald Trump and Nick Lachey. And they represent a major thematic shift for the channel — more toward the meta-scripted reality of MTV’s “The Hills,” one of the cabler’s few success stories these days.
While MTV pioneered reality series with 1992′s “The Real World,” that genre has become ubiquitous, so the network is offering a slate that avoids the backbiting and bitchery of most nonfiction fare.
“Our new shows will feature themes of affirmation and accomplishment,” says Brian Graden, prez of entertainment at MTV Networks music channels and president of Logo. “Our shows are going to focus less on loud and silly hooks and more on young people proving themselves. These are themes that are consistent with the Obama generation.” [emphasis added]
The Obama generation? What on earth does that even mean? I’ve heard that phrase a few times, and it just gets absurd each time it’s used. So, an unqualified (that’s what Obama himself said on his qualifications for the presidency) junior senator who was only elected because the last senator resigned over a sex scandal involving his wife gets elected by a populace who, when asked, can’t even tell you what his core policies are and somehow this makes the youth the Obama generation? Come on now! Are the executives at MTV as dumb as the “actors” on The Hills?
Most young people couldn’t even tell you how many senators we have or the current vice president’s name, so we can assume they don’t make a generation simply because they voted for the “cool and hip guy” (read the 50 year old suit-wearing lawyer who would never be cool if he were white– yes, of course he’s been labeled cool because he’s black, does anyone really think a white 50 year old would ever be considered “hip” or “cool”?)
And what’s with the whole “reality show” craze that STILL has yet to die its well-deserved death? We’ve had these types of shows since TV started, and they’re called game shows. Except in most game shows, we don’t have to see the same idiot contestant week after week, and none of them eat bugs as part of the contest. There’s nothing real about any of these shows, and to label them as such is silly. It’s a continuation of the dumbing down of our culture, especially our youth who couldn’t be bothered to think for themselves for ten seconds, let alone have any clue what’s going on in the world around them…the important things that is. They can tell you all about the newest American Idol winner, but ask them to point China out on a map and they’re brain-dead all of a sudden.
I do have one suggestion for MTV. Perhaps some music, seeing as how the first word of your network is “music.” Perhaps? Or maybe if you’re going to claim your new shows are about youth empowering themselves, you might want to cancel shows that have contestants dump their current girlfriends to hook up with strangers their parents set them up with or shows that feature bi-sexual sluts trying to win the heart of the star who happens to be bi-sexual and a slut herself. Graden says the new lineup is thematic different, then we hear that one of the new shows is produced by Donald Trump and follows a group of hard-partying girls to an English prep school (read: sluts go to England to get drunk and have sex). Let’s not pretend you’re doing wonderful things here…just stick to whipped cream licking contests, and the adults will be sure to tune out for more rational fare.

Is Obama an Egomaniac?

So, Obama is still using his change.gov URL to try to make it look as if the “office of the president elect” is, ya know, an actual office…or that it’s part of the US government. It is not, and he is not actually the president elect until December. Right now, Barack Obama is a US Senator from Illinois and nothing more.
But, that’s not stopping him from posting weekly addresses to his people complete with his change.gov website listed and his official looking “office of the president elect” logo he had created, complete with bald eagle carrying arrows and olive branch.
The guy is an egomaniac who simply adores himself, and there’s little denying that plain fact. Let’s look at his record. Obama claims to be a post-partisan politician who just wants to serve, yet he won his first election by forcing every single one of his opponents off the ballot through sneaky moves based on technicalities. He won his US Senate seat by accident, because the current senator resigned after the Tribune demanded his divorce records unsealed and splashed across the front pages of newspapers nationwide. After this accidental election, he promised he would not seek the presidency, because he believed in being qualified and prepared for a job before you applied for it, and he was neither qualified nor prepared. Two weeks later he took back his promise and decided he would, in fact, run for the job he said he was not qualified nor prepared for.
He served a mere 143 days in his accidental senate seat before starting his run for presidency. He spent the next 2 years (read that, TWO YEARS) running for this office (not doing much of the ol’ senate job he left behind).
He had his people create an Obama presidential seal before he won the election, as you will recall, complete with the latin for “yes we can” slogan on the bottom. He had the eagle there too to make it look like the presidential seal. When this was reported, the campaign stopped using the seal out of embarassment.
Now, he’s taken to using an official government sounding website, though the site is basically his campaign website pasted onto the new URL…and he’s taken to using a brand new seal on his podium for “office of the president elect.” There is, of course, no such office in the federal government, and the fancy logo created is fictional as well.
Why run for an office you promised not to…an office you said you were not qualified for? Who runs for president after a mere 143 days in the senate, only to be elected to that senate seat on a fluke divorce disaster with the embarassed former senator??
Everything Obama does screams “ego!” I always thought Bill Clinton based all of his moves on his simple desire not to help, but for the sake of power and glory…Obama has Billo beat ten times over.
The guy is…frankly, he’s just embarassing to watch at this point. I’m just waiting for him to declare the president to be in charge of the official unofficial crown and throne. He’ll wear it as he sits behind a lectern plastered with eagles holding arrows, holding placards shouting “yes we can!” and “changenhope!” I can see it now…
Yet his cult keeps following like blind sheep. No clue what he truly stands for, no idea what his basic core values are. “Who cares what he stands for?” they say. “He’s cool and hip, and gosh darn it, that dude in his late 40′s undertands us 18 year olds. Besides, that other guy was wayyyy old, tehehe xoxoxo.”
Obama’s Non-Christian Christianity

Like I always say, liberal Christianity is no Christianity at all. Liberal Christianity that embraces abortion and homosexuality has no place with Biblical Christianity, as it denies the very basic tenants of the faith for some merry all-inclusive sort of religion that bears no resemblance to the Christianity of the Bible.
Barack Obama comes clean in a recent interview that even he denies that Christ is the only way to God.
- Obama: There’s the belief, certainly in some quarters, that people haven’t embraced Jesus Christ as their personal savior that they’re going to hell.
Falsani: You don’t believe that?
Obama: I find it hard to believe that my God would consign four-fifths of the world to hell. I can’t imagine that my God would allow some little Hindu kid in India who never interacts with the Christian faith to somehow burn for all eternity. That’s just not part of my religious makeup.”
As any Christian who, ya know, actually follows the basic core tenants of the religion will tell you- Obama is completely wrong. God will INDEED consign four-fifths of the world to hell for not following Christianity. The OT and NT both make that abundantly clear. Christ himself made it clear more times than I could even count.
Christianity teaches that there is ONE way to God and ONLY ONE way. Through Jesus Christ. A personal relationship with Christ as your savior is the only way possible to God. Obama doesn’t like that, so he, like many others, forms his own religious beliefs. One thing that’s clear though, whatever his true religious beliefs, it isn’t Christianity.
Unfortunately, many share Obama’s twisted view of Christianity, and the polls show that Obama voters REALLY confuse Christianity (only 17% of Obama voters think the Bible is the word of God.) It’s disappointing that so many people who claim the faith as their own have no idea what they’re talking about on even the most fundamental aspects of the religion.
People Are Stupid: Twilight Tattoos

Oh dear lord. People are getting Twilight tattoos now. Not only is the creepy obsession with a teenaged vampire movie scary as hell, these morons had to take it a step further and paint purty colors in their skin to show how obsessed they are.
I’ll be brutally honest with you. I hope they all get a horrible infection from the tattoos and the body part they got the tattoo on falls off. Arm tattoo? Try driving your jetta around now, sucker! Leg tattoo? Well, you want be running any marathons anytime soon…
I’m sorry, but people are stupid…and this is proof.
