NBC’s Ban on “Christ”

It seems that Veggie Tales has started to air on NBC. The biblically-based children’s animated series is full of references to the Bible, Bible verses, and talk of Christ. NBC, however, has decided to edit out any references to Christ, the Bible, Bible verses, etc.

Why?

They don’t want to offend anyone.

When NBC can air gross out shows where contestants eat cow testicles…series with scenes in strip clubs…movies that are filled with foul language, etc. Yet the word “Christ” is banned- you know this nation is in trouble.

We have our priorities completely out of whack. NBC makes this fact quite obvious with this insane decision regarding Veggie Tales.

Honestly Josh, even most of us flaming godless types are with you on this one, even PZ. We’re always bitching about censorship, and that door swings both ways. I say leave Veggie Tales untouched. If parents don’t want to have the God references, they can change the channel and find plenty of shows without.
