There’s a new weekly comedy bit over at Hot Air’s VENT video show. I like Malkin, I’ve liked most of the Vent episodes so far, but I have to say- this wasn’t one bit funny. From the comments, I was expecting milk to spray out my nose (if I had been drinking milk), but this was just a bad attempt at comedy that fell flat on its face.
Not only wasn’t it funny, the entire point made little sense. So people, in general, will be more likely to sign a petition from a guy who seems halfway intelligent and isn’t dressed like a hillbilly, burping every other word. Ummm, no shocker there. I don’t see any significant insight into anything by noticing this- it’s common sense and common knowledge. We all look at people in different ways based on how they dress, how they groom themselves, how they speak, etc. Of course the messenger makes a difference when the message is the same. I’m not sure what the revelation was supposed to be.
Better luck next time, I guess…
