More Racism from Obama’s Church. Obama’s Own Values on Display?

Obama’s Church: Hillary Cried Because White Supremacy Failed

Obama cannot deny the racism that must surely be within his core. NO sane and sensible person could EVER sit in the pews of any church on earth that would allow bigots like this to get up and “preach.” The parishoners in this video and all the Wright videos seem to eat this racism and anti-Americanism up. No sane or sensible person could ever sit in the pews with such lunatics, let alone worship in front of a racist being cheered on by those lunatics.

The evidence is overwhelming at this point. Barack is one of two things:

Possibility #1 Barack is an oppurtunist who will do nearly anything to get elected. If that means sitting in the pews of a racist anti-American hate-filled church for two full decades, embracing the racist preacher, having that preacher marry him and his wife and baptise his children- then so be it. To hell with common sense, decency, morality, and any of that crazy stuff. He merely pretended to praise a racist spouting racism in order to get the actual racists in the pews to embrace him and eventually elect him as their leader. This possibility would mean Barack is simply reprehensible and disgusting, power-hungry beyond nearly anything we’ve ever seen in American politics. This would make him unethical, immoral, and royaly stupid.

This possibility doesn’t seem at all likely. The fact is- Barack started attending Trinity long before his career in politics. I don’t see any way he could have anticipated his move into public office at a national level. He would have to be one of the most genius political minds ever to have decided to plot for 30 years in order to get elected half a lifetime later. No way this possibility makes sense.

That leaves us with possibility #2:

Barack embraced a racist anti-American church because his own personal values reflect the same thing. Racism and anti-Americanism. Deep seated hatred boils within him. A constant victim who believes he and anyone who shares his skin tone can do no wrong, but that a worldwide conspiracy is working against him and his people. Holding them back, keeping them down, making their lives miserable (unless you’re the pastor with the skin tone and the mansion, or the candidate senator with the skin tone and the mansion, private jet, and taxpayer funded protection).

Here is the new pastor of Obama’s church of 20 years:

Why are we even denying the racism that lies within this man anymore? I will repeat- NO sane person sits through this once let alone every week for 20 years.

“Hope. Change. Racism. Hatred. Lunacy. Barack Obama 2008. (I promise I’m no racist).”

The Dog Problem (Movie)

Got my newest DVDs from Netflix today after work…The Dog Problem and The Final Season. ThinkFilm, this movie’s distributor knows how to pick them. Just in the last couple of months I’ve seen (and loved) Life Of the Party, Off The Black, and now The Dog Problem (all distributed by ThinkFilm).

The Dog Problem starring Giovanni Ribisi
The Dog Problem

Anyway, I watched The Dog Problem tonight, and my main description would just be “charming”. Charming throughout in every way, shape, and form. Giovanni Ribisi is charming, his female lead is gorgeous and over the top charming (you just want to protect her for some reason), the dog is beyond cute and charming. The look of the film is even charming. It’s just a charming flippin’ movie all around.

A fairly simple story of a man filled with loneliness who gets a dog. A few background characters to fill his life with, some comical drama in the subplot having to do with owing money to various not-so-scary ‘thugs’, it’s all very lighthearted, nothing too serious, funny to the point of a few good chuckles. Ribisi really does a wonderful job here, as do the other actors including Don Cheadle as Ribisi’s therapist (though he has a very small role). Great photography, a very nice looking Los Angeles to go with the quirky plotlines.

Highly recommend this one.

It’s Official: Media Matters’ Paul Waldman is a Brain Dead Zombie

I don’t even know if any commentary is necessary. Here’s Paul Waldman from Media Matters dishonestly attacking Lou Dobbs.

Watch Waldman attack Lou Dobbs, then tell me what’s wrong with the picture. When Waldman refuses to answer Dobbs’ question on how many positive stories they’ve done on Republicans, I just had to laugh out loud. If that wasn’t bad enough, he dug his hole deeper by complaining that Dobbs is somehow irresponsible because a racist group had used one of his immigration pieces to push their hatred! I guess Dobbs is responsible for anything anyone says about him or his opinions! Amazing!

Notice in video 2 how Waldman says “undocumented immigrants.” That’s leftist idiot code for “illegal aliens.” An immigrant isn’t someone who sneaks in, violating our laws, and refusing to respect our sovereignty…and that person isn’t “undocumented”- they’re alies who come here illegally. Fact is- Waldman and his smear group would be happy only if Dobbs and everyone else pledged to accept and embrace illegal “immigration” and remove our borders altogether. Why he can’t just be honest with the world and say that is anyones guess.

Media Matters is one of the most vile, reprehensible organizations in this country, and it’d do us all well to remember that fact. Waldman is a brain dead lapdog at the heels of his master, the master of dishonest and hatred, David Brock. Go figure he’d refuse to be honest even with Dobbs.

Adam’s Apples (Danish Movie)

I’ll be honest, I’m completely confused by the terms “dutch” “danish” and even the term “netherlands.” I always thought the netherlands was a number of countries (and from what I’ve heard from others, this is a common misconception. According to what I’ve just read, Holland isn’t a country, but rather a part of the country “the netherlands.” Dutch doesn’t refer to Denmark, it refers to The Netherlands (don’t ask me). When referring to Denmark, the term is “Danish.” At least this is all based on wikipedia’s information. Completely confusing to me, as I’ve used the term “dutch” when referring to Denmark for some time.

Adam's Apples

Anyhow- I was looking for a movie to watch on Netflix “watch it now” on their website, and found a bunch of Film Movement releases. I don’t know why I bother with these, the 4 or 5 I saw on DVD were terrible, but I decided to watch another…

It was the Danish movie (from Denmark) called ADAM’S APPLES. A dark comedy, according to imdb.com and other movie sites (including Netflix, which is where I watched it.) Not anywhere near comical, but pretty dark overall. It’s the story of Ivan, a preacher who truly lives the “turn the other cheek” model. He meets Adam at the start of the film, a neo-nazi just released from prison staying at Ivan’s church as a sort of community service. In passing, Adam makes the comment that he wants his goal while at the church to be to bake an apple pie…so that becomes his goal. Take care of the apple tree and bake a pie when the apples are ready.

We meet Khalid and Gunnar, both former prisoners themselves who decided to stick around even after their community service time was up. Both men are clearly lacking in mental capacity. Gunnar steals and Khalid robs the local convenience store and thinks he’s an uber-terrorist.

The movie completely lacks one major element- comedy. Unless you find shooting a cat funny, you won’t find humor here. Maybe Europeans have an odd sense of humor and brain matter from a shot to the head is somehow funny, but I don’t share that sense of humor thank God.

There’s not much to say about the film. It’s fairly boring, it’s depressing, and it’s just mainly absurd. Ivan is way too kind, but we find out it’s because he has a brain tumor that makes him ignore all the bad around him. Adam is just evil and has no redeeming qualities whatsoever. The others are clearly handicapped to some degree and just spend the film doing pointless and stupid things in the background mainly.

Now, the ending was actually really good. I think this could have been a good movie if the entire film had the feeling of the last 10 mins. It would have become a completely different movie, but I see nothing positive to say about the first hour to begin with, so that wouldn’t be much of a loss.

One thing I will say is that it’s beautifully shot. The landscape is gorgeous, the camera angles and camera movements are inspired…it all looks really wonderful. An entertaining story that wasn’t so dull, depressing, and meaningless would have been a nice addition to the wonderful cinematography, but alas that was not meant to be with this one.

4/10

The Good Life With Robert Palmer

Some People Can Do What They Like
Robert Palmer’s 1974 album Some People Can Do What They Like

I think I said the same thing here a few years ago, but it’s worth repeating. Everytime I see this album cover, I think to myself- ‘this is one cool guy, and he sure is living the good life.’

I see this cover, and I envy Palmer like you wouldn’t believe. And who knows why…I don’t think sitting in the grass playing cards while a taxi waits sounds all that fun, but in this picture it looks like heaven for some reason.

Unfortunately, I’m not a fan of the tracks on this particular album.

Don’t Drink Your Pee

Who knew? According to The Explainer at Slate, you shouldn’t drink your urine in an attempt to survive without water. It will, as you’d guess, kill you in a short period of time due to kidney failure. The toxins in your urine will, after running it through your body a couple of times, will overcome your ability to filter them out.

Even if you could withstand the toxins, you’d lose most of it quickly. You lose a lot of water through perspiration and exhaling. So, you’d be short on liquid in no time as it is.

America Gone Mad: Describing the Obama Cult Perfectly

This was posted a while back, but I just found it via another site, so I’m sharing now…

But the easiness of Obama’s movement isn’t what bothers me most. I am profoundly troubled that any candidate would chart the course of American history as follows (and I’m rearranging Obama’s history here to make it more chronological):

American Revolutionaries -> Manifest Destiny -> Slaves/Abolitionists -> Suffragettes -> the Labor Movement -> the Greatest Generation -> the Civil Rights Movement -> Himself.

Where did this come from? Free Republic? Rush Limbaugh? National Review?

Nope. Mother Jones of all places.

I, myself, as I’ve mentioned, find this campaign to the scariest thing I’ve ever seen in American politics. The ability of rational people to come to me and just go on and on about Obama, about how he’s going to change the world, how he’s different, how he’s going to make the entire world a better place (not just this country)…yet when asked about his positions, they have no earthly idea, outside of “he’s going to give all of us free healthcare.” It’s mind-blowing.

It goes to prove my point that people are generally ignorant of most things, especially when it comes to politics and politicians. Sadly, they view this as a contest of who can be more inspiring (ahhhhh), as opposed to a contest to see who is better to run the free world.

I’m starting to think Obama could literally go on a killing spree and his supporters would find a way to look past it and keep chanting “yes we can.” His close associates are racist, anti-American, terrorists, mobsters, Israel-haters? Oh, who cares! He’s still the niftiest guy I’ve ever known (oh, I know him, I know Barack Obama).

‘Wait, Obama supports partial birth abortion and once said he wanted to limit the right to buy firearms? He wants to meet with terrorist nations without preconditions? Wait, the healthcare isn’t anywhere near free and will cost me in higher taxes?! But, but, he’s inspiring and he can speak well! Oh, hell, I don’t care what he stands for…yes we can, yes we can, yes we can (where did I sit my glass of kool-aid?)’
